Is anyone doing a gender reveal party? This is my first pregnancy and I want to do all of the fun things! Anyone have any ideas? Themes? Who to invite? How to do the reveal? Tips?

My husband and I are very private people so we plan on doing an intimate gender reveal to find out first. and then do a party for family/friends! I've seen so many cute themes on pinterest! what will baby bee is so cute!

This is our third and we always find out first and then do something to tell everyone, I think having you and your partner find out first and then do something for everyone else is a little more convenient because it gives you and your partner private time to process and enjoy having a little girl or a little boy before telling everyone else and getting overwhelmed… also if you are hoping for a certain sex and you get the opposite, having you 2 find out first prevents any weird reactions caught on video haha (remember your kid will eventually see this video lol)
As far as ideas, there are so many now a days from the typical popping a balloon, the cutting of a cake, tick tack toe, it depends on where you will be doing it, what you want and how much you want to clean hahaha
Either way good luck and congratulations

@mommyto2girliesandnugget,
this!!! 100 percent. For our first, my husband and I found out and then we had a cake made with stuffed with blue m&ms and revealed it to our family on Thanksgiving. I think we will also find out first this time then think of a way to announce it. I agree with it lets you process the gender privately and together and be ready for any comments family or friends will throw at you.

This is my third. We did one for our first two. The first one was “touchdown or tutus” & the second one was “free throws or bows”. Idk if I’m going to do one this time. We are really stuck on us just finding out and then maybe do a reveal party for the family & friends but idk yet.

Last time my husband and I had my mom find out. We bought a wardrobe and my mom filled it with boy clothes and tied it with blue and pink ribbons. We untied it and opened the wardrobe doors at our party.
